What is better: a TomTom GO 930 or a Magellan Maestro 3225?

My father has a Magellan Maestro 3225 and I want a TomTom GO 930. He says he'll give me his GPS and said that the TomTom is better. Is this true?

Hate to say it is not as simple as the unit is better most of which unit you prefer.
Personal preference here is very important that the selection of GPS.
What are you looking for a GPS that you need and work backwards.
TomTom 930 is the latest flag ship personal navigation device (PND) TomTom have released recently and it has much to offer as the speech recognition feature, the part of the map, routing iQue, Bluetooth, text to speech and maps of Europe and North America. This unit includes a 4.3 "widescreen, and cost $ 499.

The Magellan Maestro 3225 has been to produce a Costco in origin and is an affordable solution for Magellan GPS PND, I would say that this is not a fair comparison because it is the flagship GPS PND for Magellan.

The answer is the TomTom 930 is better, but twice the price of the Maestro 3225.

Garmin 765 or TomTom 930? Which car gps system is the best of the two? ?

Garmin provides the best guidance and faster and they updated the mapping software. Tom-Tom uses Tele Atlas, which is reliable, but often steers you in the wrong direction. I'd go with the Garmin. You should read this article and then decide.
