Ebook reader?
What is a good brand ebook reader? I do not want to spend $ 400 in one.
What I mean by "ebook reader? I use Microsoft Reader. Reads, Mobipocket, which reads like most other electronic book formats, and Adobe Reader for Pocket PC for PDF files.
If you mean, what is a good PDA to read ebooks on ... I am particularly moved by my Acer. The iPaq is fab, but you do not need something that expensive if you use it only for eBooks. Reliable Acers are nice pieces of kit and you can get a N30 or N35 for less than £ 150 on eBay.
MS Reader comes with Windows Mobile
Mobipocket is freeware, you can download here: http://www.mobipocket.com / en / DownloadSof t / ProductDetailsReader.asp
Adobe Reader for Pocket PC is freeware, available here: aderforppc.html http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/re
With these you should be able to read anything about.
What eBook reader can I get in Australia?
What eBook Reader can I get here in Australia?
If none is actually manufactured for us poor Australians, and I have to import one, what is the best player? Sony Reader? Cybook Opus? Which?
I am not interested in the new Aussie announced Kindle because I want my readers to be able to play songs more training, not only the titles of the Amazon.
I'll still say the Kindle because Amazon offers much better support content compared to other ebook readers. In fact, the Kindle 2 can still read the PDF files by converting, so it should not be a big problem ...
There is a thorough review here, which also mentions the Sony Reader and iRex:
