Who among you owns a Barnes & Noble nook?

My husband decided to get one for me since I am an avid reader. I just want to know if someone who actually owned one and can give me an exhaustive review.

And please do not tell me to go visit the Barnes & Noble, because I have done already and I read the specifications of the corner too.

I just need someone to let me know if this is a redemption penalty and if it is friendly. :-)

With the Barnes & Noble nook, is it possible to transfer books from hard-copy to the nook?

I have over $ 3,200 books and do not want to spend that kind of money again to transfer them to the corner. Is there somewhere I can go or speak to someone to have them transferred to the corner without charge?

Sorry, but no. It would have been nice to be able to do that but he can not.
