Magellan Triton?

I: a Megellan Triton 500 GPS, Windows XP, VantagePoint, and National Geographic Topo Maps.

Magellan instructions are superimposed. I can get to the point where I'm connected at VantagePoint, but I'm stuck at this point. The key selling point about this GPS is that the number of National Geographic Topo Map can be downloaded from the GPS.

How do I get the topo maps on my GPS?

If you have the camera connected to USB, it works just like transferring files to your computer! You simply move the topo maps to GPS memory, then the GPS unit to activate the cards! If you have an SD memory card, it will take more than the limit 8meg. It is really the only copy in the device and activate it.

Select "VantagePoint" in the dropdown menu and press Enter. Press Escape (ESC) to return to the map screen. (You do it on the GPS)

Then open the map of National Geographic Topo application and follow the instructions on the screen to select and customize your region. Once you've set your area, select "Export" in the card application for transfer to VantagePoint your GPS and Triton.
