How to add europe maps on Garmin nuvi 250w GPS ?

Hello guys,
I have Garmin nuvi 250W bought in Canada. I North Amercian maps preloaded in it. I want to load the Europe maps on my device. Do I need to pay again for this. Have we any website available that can help me do that. I have attached my GPS with my computer.

Yes, you have to pay. You must visit the Garmin website and purchase European maps appropriate for your travels.

Does the Garmin Nuvi 250 GPS have Asian languages such as Korean or is there a separate Asian version?

We try to have one that can display and say Korean, but I do not know if the GPS had normal Asian languages on them, or if I should buy one that says specifically, "Garmin Nuvi GPS Navigator Asian ".

I was bitten around the Garmin website and found a Q & A relevant to the knowledge base:


"Q. What does Asian American units Garmin currently offer?


A. All current Garmin devices have the ability to display text and Asia to announce their turn by turn directions in Asian languages.

The five languages offered on these units are:

The continuing uncertainty only that the FAQ was updated on 8/20/09, but I do not know when the Garmin Nuvi stopped producing the 250S for the 255s. But since the FAQ suggests that support for the Korean language is virtually omnipresent in the line of Garmin products, it sounds like the Garmin Nuvi 250 should be a sure bet.

1. Go to www.garmin.com
2. Hover over the support 'for the menu and then select Search Support.
3. I simply put "Korean" in your search terms and click "Search". The FAQ was the 2nd in the results.
