The maximum distance a point is 180 degrees around the world. GPS satellites have coverage throughout the world. I like the Garmin GPS systems you can store more than 3 points. As for the resistance of water to keep it in a dry bag. Why take a chance?

Personally, I would not buy a Bushnell. I'm sure they do not themselves. I had too many instances where I could not get something like this served. The company gets just put their name on a product to "enter the market" so to speak. The do not follow through with how to get the product serviced and it is often the actual brand is not at all good quality. My recommendation is to stay with a know brand like Garmin.

I almost bought one of these a few months ago, but after reading some reviews, I take off asseverative off. There were some problems that seemed to refer to again and again: it sometimes took several minutes to earn your belief, you should have taken poignant (ie if you stop moving, you wear your place) and, it would not be much effort in prison facilities such as shopping centers or parking lots (cardboard that you wanted to use it to find where you park your car). At the end of the day, I found that many handheld GPS units are almost as little ceremony to use and provides better management.(I have seen many comments equitable eTrex, and was often listed as an alternate for the trackback.) I had an ECCO Keychain GPS for a pair of months and I am very happy with it. Influential "on the Avenue" (skin), steering, hiking, etc. It would be even better if it worked inside but you cannot have anything specifically when you think the size and battery life issues . I shaded it is built around the same piece that the Bushnell.
