Can I reprogram my garage door opener unit?

AA We just moved into its new home, and with the changing door locks, I want to reprogram the garage opener unit so if the former owners still have an opening game at bay, they will not be able to return to the property and to open our garage. Is this possible? Or do I need to buy a whole new unit? (this is not a question of how to program the remote Thanks real)!

Yes you can, but to be sure no worries you just call an installer of garage doors then ask how the prices they charge you to change the code for this door opener before they do scammed or if you want some fun then get under aa scale sufficient to achieve unity opener door open on the sides to find the little switch and then note how the switch to the original position, then start adjusting up and lower than one switch at a time such as that switch has a number 1,2,3, 4,5 if the number is 1 up and 2 down 3 up position, then try decreasing the number 1, then follow the same to the remote, then try to push the botton on the remote so they can comunicate each other, but if not, return it in the original position to try the number 2 switch to raise the same the remote and test again if the will to work and so on... My dosent lock garage doors at the moment and I do not have a key for it, if I get an opener automatic garage door will lock itself when it closes.

It will not really "lock", but the automatic door opener will keep closed.
