Nikon Coolpix?

Is it true that Nikon Coolpix cameras point and shoot cameras are really bad? I heard they take pictures of very poor quality and are basically a piece of scrap. Is this true?

One of my friends has a Coolpix and the photos show great! Even with 10x zoom! Maybe some models are better than others?

I took some pictures today on my camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix S560. I forgot to put my memory card back in soon and I have no cable. How do I get these images from my memory of my memory card? Thankyou!

It is fairly easy. You do not need the USB cable that came with your camera. With it off, take all the cards from the camera, switch it to "review" mode (the one you use to watch a computer on the back), connect the USB cable into your camera and computer. You may have to click on a menu on the device for something like "PC mode". A window should appear on the computer that you will open a browser window to see the images. Copy them to your hard disk as the camera was just another hard drive.
