Can you cut meat on a bamboo cutting board?
I am thinking of buying a cutting board bamboo, but I wonder if it's porous - is it save to cut raw meat on the chopping board or is it meant for things such as vegetables? Thank you.
It is a better cut surface as it will not dull the blade of your knife as the knives composites.

Greetings Eric: As stated above by others, maple moist filamentous use.It is very abundant fine-grained, and if crossed with nuts or purpleheart, it makes a Smashing cutting board. POP Wood certainly when you oil it. I made about 4, and associated matched the wood, and they are formidable. Rugged Maple is sometimes hard at breaking through.
