Miele or Oreck Vacuum cleaner?

Can anyone tell me which cartridge vacuum is better, or Miele Oreck for both carpet and hard wood house floor?

The Oreck is for a 85 year old man or woman who can not lift anything over 8 pounds. The Oreck does not pick up well at all. The only thing you pay is Mr. Oreck TV and newspaper advertisements. Not only that, if you do not have carpet and do not get the Oreck. This is what the ORECK is done and if you use the Oreck on your hard surfaces, it could scratch your floors because brushroll is always spinning and the base plate is metal, I repeat will scratch your floors. Miele is the best. It will pick up anything. Just after I bought a refurbished Oreck I learned that a single vacuum aspiration has been recommended for the frieze.

Never heard of any of my representatives or carpet manufactures the same, but always ready to learn something new. I honestly do not know any way to tell the truth. Just you d think it would be widely publicized through all my carpet manufacturers if it was.
