I have a sans disk memory card reader and it doesn't work. Can you help me?
I insert the memory card reader into the USB port and nothing appears on screen. Then I go to my computer and click Properties, then Device Manager, and below that my shoes memory drive is plugged in. Then i click where it says, and he told me that I I need to install an updated driver for the card. Where can I get this updated driver?
It could be that the memory card SanDisk is one of the HC (high capacity over 2GB) cards and the card reader does not support them. If so, I do not think that updated driver to resolve the problem as is the material that is the problem. However, finding the card reader model it is and visit the SanDisk website. They may very well have a driver update for it.
How does a memory card reader work for a camera?
I need a new memory card reader built into it since my PC broke. Do they just plug into the computer with a USB cable and you put the card into the reader? I suppose you must install the software as well. My assumptions are correct? Anything else?
You can buy other to plug into your USB port, these are the easiest to use. Some of which require software such as Windows XP and Vista have a lot of drivers integrated into the operating system. For best prices go to Newegg.com or Meritline.com. Meritline has free shipping on many of its elements.
